Sunflower Acres Farmhouse (Poconos)

"We just finished a 4 night stay at this property in East Stroudsburg managed by WanderHome. The home is an excellent place to bring a family with children. I’m sure it would be great for adults as well. We were grandparents with our kids and their children (4 kids 5 and under). There’s lots of space for a large size group, and house was equipped with all the necessary, kitchen supplies, and cleaning product products (if needed). The house itself had all necessary furniture and in good condition. We did not use the hot tub, but did use the above ground pool once and it seemed to be fine, but of course not heated so on the cold side, which was expected. We did spend a lot of time on activities outside of the home because many of the attractions or activities were within 30 minutes so that was a great convenience spot to be in. Of course, there were little things that come up, but overall would recommend the home and Wander Home due to very quick responses to request and concerns."

"Absolutely Fabulous Stay! Our multi generational family had an incredible time at this Treasure of a house. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated and an awesome layout to meet everyone needs. The beds were extremely comfortable and the play area so fun for our youngsters. The property was well cared for and the host easy to contact. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it !"

"Overall, the property was a good place to vacation. It is very secluded and we had plenty of wildlife to enjoy. The layout of the house worked well for us. We did have a few opportunities that made the stay somewhat disappointing. 1. Upon arrival, the grounds were not maintained at all. The grass was a foot high and there was a lot of debris outside from previous guests as well as some work that was being completed. I did pick up the debris and found a mower in a shed on property which I used to cut the front yard of the house. 2. The trash left was tremendous. I had to gather it up and place it in the shed, so we had a place to put ours. These two issues were not addressed until Tuesday. 3. The last issue was a water leak in the basement. This was a significant amount of water, and we had to clean it up ourselves. Fortunately, I was able to locate a shut off valve to stop the leak. Although 2 different servicemen came out, the repair was not made. 4. one of the burners on the stove couldn't be used due to a broken knob. Communication from the management company was relatively quick, but solving the issues was not. We made the best of things and enjoyed our family vacation."

"This home was a wonderful fit for our group of 6 ladies celebrating our 60th birthdays! The kitchen was large and well stocked for meal Prep and gathering for our morning coffee, bedrooms (2 per floor) were bright and welcoming, the basement recliners made for the perfect spot for movie night! We were able to enjoy some sun on the deck and while we planned for a fire the weather didn’t cooperate. It was a lovely week overall and would definitely recommend this home to anyone who is looking for ample space for a larger group to stay. The host was easily reachable and very quick to respond when needed."

"My extended family stayed at this property for Christmas break. The home is spacious and warm, and the hosts are very responsive. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and it is easy to create a holiday meal. The property is nearby camelback resort if you’re interested in tubing, skiing, or an indoor waterpark. One note: the road to the property may be icy in the winter so be cognizant of your transportation to and from the home! Otherwise, an excellent stay."

"Hello,Trip was just a weekend getaway with all adult friends! Excellent for our 14 friends! Nice location! Key things - hot tub, pool, Popcorn machine, fire pit with space for all 14, dining table for all 14, 4 bathrooms! House was very clean…Host was nice and super responsive…nice cosy house!!!"

"This place is amazing and the shower is as well. The beds are comfortable and the host was very pleasant and attentive. The house is huge and everything about it is great. We will stay there every year from now on"
